Boys watch football while the girls talk running ;)

Happy hubby
Our friends invited us over for the SuperBowl last night, which is always in the best interest of hubs and his passion for sports. I love the commercials though! Beyonce didn't impress me, sorry Kanye. Congrats to the Ravens, since I have family from Maryland ;)
Today's Featured Sneakers belong to Janet, aka a Twitter pal of mine who just ran her first marathon at ING Miami!
Name: Janet Hourican

What is your favorite way to workout/exercise: Running, I added spinning recently but will add more after marathon training along with Hot Yoga that I loved, loved. I usually go to the gym for strength training and I think I am known on twitter for Dropping it Low with Squats. #OperationBooty.
What is your #1 cheat food: Anything Salty. Esp Chips.

What advise do you have for those starting on a fitness journey: Don't give up just cause you are not the fastest or cant do the most reps or even if you don't see quick results. It will all come in time. Patience is key and always try to make a better you each day.

She's a fellow Brooks lover!
Dream destination race/location: I think Hawaii. Never been and would be great to run it.
Favorite inspirational fitness personality/trainer: Famous? Not yet; But most inspirational and a great coach to me is Stephen Trindade. @supersubfigo Helped me realize that the only one getting in the way of anything is me.
Workout apparel must have (+brand): I like the way UA and Nike breathe. Of Course anything Brooks cause I am a huge fan and I only wear Brooks running shoes. Pure Cadence are my faves.
Motivational motto/quote: Impossible is Nothing!
Twitter: @ALWYSRUNNEN

Email me if you're interested in being a Monday feature!
How was your Super Sunday? Weren't the Clydesdales the cutest? The VW commercial makes me lol repeatedly!
Cognrats Janet on ING! That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe Clydesdales were my favorite too. The baby ones at the beginning were too damn cute.
Beyonce is stupid pretty and looks great post baby. I think I was more impressed with the fact that she can jump around in those hooker heels the way she does. She sounded alright though - she's got a good voice, so no surprise there. We just hung out at a friends - toooo much food.
I enjoyed professional snacking too!
DeleteI LOVED your talking running pic on facebook..and wished I were there :-)
ReplyDeleteWe did too! :)

The Clydesdale commercial made me tear up.
I missed the halftime show but I am hearing mixed reviews on B's performance.
Ya she's a diva,so not too impressed here....it's expected lol
DeleteI love Brooks too, although right now I am in NB for running.

ReplyDeleteHappy to admit that I watched not a single second of the game!
ReplyDeleteInstead, I got much of my week's busy-work finished by dinner time.
Love the purple sneakers...
Commercials are the only reason I watch the Super Bowl! :)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Janet!
ReplyDeleteThe Clydesdales were tear-jerkers. I loved it, but it made me mad that I cried! :c)
Brooks-lover here, too! I adore their shoes.
My favorite commercials were the Clydesdale, the Joe Montana Tide stain commercial and the Dodge Ram Farmer commercial. There were some super dumb ones this year- that GoDaddy commercial was nasty!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your marathon Janet! I love hot yoga too - why is there not enough time in the day for all these activities?!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your first marathon Janet! That is a huge milestone and one you won't forget anytime soon!
