August goals post!

Alright kids, let's get rockin' on some new goals for me for the month of August!

I did well with the July goals so I want to be sure to not disappoint...shoot, I want to blow you all away! (not like Blockbuster-movie-blow-you-away, but pretty darn close!)

1) You have cable now Kat, so don't get lazy! after 3 years of no cable, we got it for the Olympics (it's there as white noise and cooking shows, but not to suck me away from being outside and active!)

2) Work on atleast 2 paintings for the fall (there's blank canvas and plenty of paint, no excuses!)

Say What Mom?! You're funna paint more?!
3) Kick 1/2 Mary training into gear (that means more speed work, safe speed work, to leave me into the fall plan of running 6 1/2 marathons in 6 months starting November)

gonna need these bad boys with more miles on my plate
4) Continue the fruits and add in more veggies! (aside from just supplements, I want to add in more snap peas and greens into my day, even at work)

This weekly grocery stash needs to stay consistent because it's working!
5) Got our NYC flights and saved money in July for spending, but let's shoot for $300 more saved! (this goes in correlation with #6)

6) Try to move to another townhome: we like the place we live now but the neighborhood isn't so bueno (lots of traffic next door can't be good news) so we've been rental-house hunting. This, of course means some unexpected costs so we'll have to balance our spending with this goal to move.

7) Get up to 250+ followers on Twitter and add some here on the blog (not sure how to accomplish this: attending CFLBlogCon to get some more tips but that's in September ;)

That should be good for 4 weeks, eh?

Any tips on how to get some of this done? What goals have you set for yourself?

Comment love makes me happy ;)

  1. Great goals post! Love the pink compression socks!

I'm also adding in more veggies like kale and snap peas these days.

My big goal outside of training is to muster up the courage for a major life change that I've been planning.
