I only work 4 hours today!!!
WHY?!
IT'S TIME FOR TRACK AND FIELD!!
Don't judge me...I obsess over this event in the Olympics and will sit my brown behind right on the couch gazing at all of the stars who run 5 million times faster than me ((le sigh))
Welp, we have a winner for the Nutrilite Fruits & Veggies 2GO tubes! (winner generated via random.org)
Drum roll please! >>>>>>>>>>>>
Jess B aka CRC or Cuban Running Crisis!
Luckily I know you're local, so we'll have to meet up for your veggies!
I hope to do another giveaway soon! (still trying to figure out why there were a ton more readers than entrants? ... I need more blingy prizes? ;)
I decided to change things up this Friday with "2 Question Friday", so here she goes!
1) What motivates you every day to keep working out?
Kat's A: Believe me, there's days when I want to just hit snooze and ignore the 4:45am Run Alarm that's set 4 days a week. Psh, are you kidding me? What motivates me is ownership; I have to make sure to meet up my buds so that no one is ridin' solo on an early, dark run AND it tends to be good times so why not? Also I look back at where I've come from and know that with hard work and dedication I got to the fittest I've ever been, why turn back? I know I'm just into my 30's but I feel like the older I get the harder it is and I don't want to make that an even harder challenge by becoming sedentary. Tip: If you want to stay motivated after weight loss, post a photo of yourself somewhere on your mirror or fridge with a personal mantra to keep going!
2) Who would you want to be stuck in an elevator with? (famous person of course!)
Right now, I'd pick from a slew of Olympians that I've been oogling at in the television machine all week! Hmm...let's pick one...Lochte...no Gar wouldn't have that ;) Not to be cliche, but probably Kara Goucher. How does she do it?! Balance a family and marathon...much less Olympic Marathon...training?? I know many of my blogger buds are in the same boat and it just amazes me! I think about how we don't even have kids yet so there's no excuse when so many power mamas kick butt out there!
So, what would your "2 Answers" be?
Comment love makes me happy ;)

Thanks B! I am so ready to get out of work and veg in front of the TV!
ReplyDeleteI love Track & Field and I could go the higher route here and pick someone inspirational, but sorry no can do. I want to be stuck in an elevator with US swimmer Nathan Adrian.... hubba hubba ;) Although he IS inspirational in that he's an OLYMPIC ATHLETE and I'm sure I could learn a LOT about perserverence, motivation, and how to swim...
