Gettin' ish done this weekend!

If you've looked at my July goals post, you know that I have a lot of things to get done....and I'm actually doing it! ((insert pat on the back))

This weekend, I tried my best to not 'over book' us and be sure to check off some things that, if they don't get done sooner or later, will drive me madder than I already am!

Saturday workout: 9.7 (ish) mi run with LSSR
* Being that it's been 104-108 during the day, we got ready to run bright and early at 6am, making 3 water stops along the way, bring on the FALL!

Task 1 - Thank you cards
Our cute as pie (most posting a pic because I enjoy the element of surprise) thank you cards came in the mail from Vistaprint Thursday so I could finally start writing our Thank yous and getting these bad boys out! Gar bear asked "can I help write some?"..um yea! Yay for a guy who has stellar handwriting!

Task 2 - Finish Billy's painting
Friday night after Day 6 of the 30 day Ab Challenge (um, yea I did 4 rounds, then died) I made sure to work on another layer of the painting, and it's coming along nicely! I can't wait for Billy to see the finished piece; even though I want to throw up thinking about the unveil...yay nerves

Task 3 - Send updates to Coach regularly
I've sent one for the past 2 weeks, and his emails seem to be more 'good job' now than 'get your ish together, Kat!'

Saturday was a success, obviously ;) It also included a much needed nappy poo along with a dinner out with friends .... including, of course, Fro yo

Sunday workout: 4 mi recovery run with Beks

we went out to church and then to lunch with some friends before stocking up on veggies/groceries for the week.

Veggie prep = a lot of work, but worth it to save some moolah & be healthy all week long!


Now, I rest, again. Because I'm tired and I wanna.

  1. Ha Andy has nice handwriting too. I make him write everything; it looks so much better than my chicken scratch.
    You are doing great with your goals. Pat yourself for sure we made it to day 8 of ab challenge. :)
